The NZDJA Judges Breed Guidelines (JBG) Document has been modelled on the Nordic Kennel Unions Breed Specific Instructions (BSI) because we currently have no reliable statistical data for our pedigree dogs in New Zealand.  It is a first attempt at gathering data to support the breeders, judges and the health and welfare of our pedigree dogs in New Zealand and the initiative has been endorsed by the National Animal Welfare Council.

It is intended as an alliance between breeders and judges to provide data based evidence in support of our breeds.
