Agenda – from 9am meet and greet with tea or coffee
9.30 – 10am: Expectations from exhibitors when it comes to approaching and handling their dogs in the ring – judges to give advice relating to their own breeds and others.
10.00 – 11.30 – Brian Harris – presentation on the Tibetan breeds
11.30 – 12.30 – Martyn Slade – Tail and dewclaw docking and how this will impact the culture of the pedigree dog in NZ; in particular as judges (emphasis to be on a few selected breeds). Discussion to be focused on breed standards.
12.30 – 1.00 lunch
1.00 – 2.00 – Nicky Sill– motion in horses and dogs (comparison) glossary of terms as relating to these species
2.00 – 3.30 – Breed Lecture Italian Spinone (Sue Hagen)
If time permits – AB judges (and any other judges) to tell us of experiences – judging and non-judging – whilst overseas.
3.30 – 4.00 Finish
